While the rest of the crew tackled the Bell Rock climb, I got to ride around on my mountain bike (after having both flat tires fixed, turns out riding off trail in the desert results in a bunch of little sharp thorns embedded in tires). The ride took me from Bell Rock back to West Sedona where we are staying, via Lama, Templeton, and Old Post trails. All single track with ocassional rock steps, some technical. Here is what I saw along the way:
| The trails are very well signed |
| From the right: Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, a bunch of other rocks, and then Sedona far left. |
| It's spring in the desert |
| Ditto |
| Beginning of the really nice part of Templeton trail. |
| Panorama from the same spot, Cathedral Rock on the left |
| Templeton trail - a classic! |
| Red Rock crossing, with the classic view of Cathedral Rock |
