Bell rock, mountain biking

On Friday, Robert went mountain biking while Lenny, Hanna and I took a hike. We went up Bell Rock which is one of the famous red rock formations in Sedona.  You can scramble up about half of it quite easily and then if you are brave, you can climb further.  We went to the end of the "trail"  and then one more step before deciding to turn around.  Considering I had Hanna on my front, sleeping in the Ergo baby carrier, while trying to spot Lenny and keep him from falling down the rocks, I was quite pleased with how far we got!  The funniest part was that Lenny has been quite reluctant to "hike" but declared that he loves to "climb".  So he happily did a short hiking approach to Bell Rock and then scrambled up several hundred feet of rock with no complaints!  From now on we will only climb mountains, no more hiking.

Lenny takes a snack break at the top of our climb
The most difficult step of our Bell Rock climb.  The rounded part is about twice Lenny's height and quite challenging to crawl up with a sleeping 25lb baby on my front.  Not to mention the way down...
Hanna woke up!  Possibly the cutest photo ever.
